About
Nicole Bell
I'm a multidisciplinary creative; fashion designer, photographer, and former boutique owner, driven by a deep love for self-expression and storytelling.
Since I was a little girl, I refused to let anyone dress me. Style was my first language. By the age of ten, I was sketching outfits and making my own fashion catalogs. Over time, my art and personal style evolved, and so did my desire to turn that passion into a career.
I earned my BFA in Fashion Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I was selected to show in the 2014 Graduation Fashion Show. After graduating, I moved back to Houston to start my namesake label. By February 2015 I was invited to show my debut collection at New York Fashion Week, and then again in 2017.
In 2018, I opened St. HROUDA, a boutique and art gallery in Brooklyn that became a beautiful hub for creativity, connection, and fashion. For five years, I curated exhibitions, hosted openings, and built a community space where art and commerce intertwined. By the end of 2023, I felt it was time to close that chapter and give myself space to evolve once again.
In 2024, I immersed myself in fashion photography, using the camera to tell stories in a new way. That year of exploration sharpened my eye and expanded my creative voice. And in 2025, I found myself unexpectedly coming to full circle… and returning to design.
Today, I bring all of those experiences together: design, photography, creative direction, and entrepreneurship. I don’t believe in staying in one lane. I want to be everything I’ve ever been—and everything I’ve yet to become. I’m here to create beautiful things and keep creating.
